Nothing really in my mind as of yet today, my brain is still reeling in pain from past events. Only two things in my head today:
"Shit, i wonder if Liz and Dee have keys"
"Fuck its cold in here"

well i feel that's not enough useless content to be happy with, therefore i suppose I'll write about my journey to City Club on sat. night. And oh what a journey it was...
For back story purposes, i will tell how i came about the idea of going to city club. One night over a psudo yummy "super bird" at Denny's, my friend Megan had told me about the previous weekend, where she had gone to City Club with a few friends. well, i have never been there, and she went on telling me how its a good place to people watch and so on. well intrigued as i was, we decided to pay city club a visit the following weekend.
So Saturday roles around. I woke up around 3pm-ish, and began making this website actually. (well, i started the graphics the night before, but nothing was published until that day.) Megan sent me a clever, yet mysterious instant message around 5 o'clock. the message was simple and to the point, it said "FUCK". after talking for a bit, she told me she had just gone to lunch with an ex-boyfriend (which is NEVER a good idea, shame on you Megan) and her head hurt. so i invited her over for a friendly game of battle ship. Upon her arrival, we opened up the boards, i choose red, she took blue. to make a short story even shorter, i won. MUWHAHHAHA. in all fairness, it was a close game (but only because i told her which quarter of the board my last boat was.) but in reality, all of this is unimportant, right? on to City club
After battle ship, and other shenanigans, we left for city club, and got there around, 11-ish i think. we grabbed a table, talked for a while, waiting for the room to fill with Goths from around Michigan. It was interesting to see all of the people there. it was like a parade in Reno. Im sure everyone had on their best dresses, and thoughs were the guys. In all, it seemed to be a "look at me" festival, where everyone was trying to prove that they indeed were "Gother than thou". But after really thinking about it, i came to frightening conclusion. It seems the Goth subculture is almost identical to the frat subculture. i dont want to explain about it right now, because i dont think that i can. it was a glimmer of truth as i was sinfully being seduced by the dense smell of incense and clove cigarettes. maybe one day, when i go back again, ill take some notes.
To describe what the city club is for you that have never had the interesting chance of going, its a nicely decorated, unfinished basement with a bar, and a large empty room that is used for dancing. All in all a set-up perfect for the dark and mysterious.
(i was just sidetracked by a co worker for like 45 min)
so uhmm, yeah, where was i... Goths... basement...shit i dunno. Basically, id go back, not because i think im a vampire, not because i feel kindred spirits of the night await me there. i just like to go to the zoo every now and again. I would recommend going there at least once in your life, but heed my warning... where all black.
